Peat and brine with just a hint of iodine.

Wow! What can I say, I love peat. Ardbeg 10 brings that in spades, yet with a balance of vanilla sweetness. I do not detect any of the iodine that makes me love Lagavulin 16, get I still love the smoke present here. The thick, almost oily texture adds another layer that makes this a must have. This ones a keeper.

Not bad, but nothing I love on first bottle opening. Online ads say this is the same, but side by side tasting does not equal the original. It seems to be missing the cereal and bananas component. Not as smooth.

Wow! What a scotch! Leans towards the sweet side but has a layer of peat to round things out. Makes me think of a pleated Highland Park 12. Amazing Dram :).
