Got as a gift. This is excellent. So much more flavor than the special reserve. Carmel. Fruit (apple grape). And lots more spice than expected.

Starts sweet. Like a sweet bourbon. Then the spice kicks in. A little tart on the finish. I love it. Others seem to find the finish too tart. My opinion, if you like bourbon and you like IPA’s youll like this.

Nose is toasted marshmallow cherry and mint. Palate is vanilla cherry coke oak and molasses. Finish is pepper and baking spice.

Took forever to get one of these. Not sure when I will see it again. But I dont forsee this bottle lasting long. One of the easiest drinking whiskeys I’ve ever had. Probably why its so hard to get. Glad I held off and didn’t pay secondary prices on it though.

Was a gift and gifts are always appreciated, but…Tastes very young. Would be surprised if it’s anything above the 4yr minimum for BiB. It gets better after a few sips but wouldn’t really recommend.

Nose is enticing. Sweet. Baking spice. Toasted marshmallow. Palate starts sweet but ends earthy. Finish is a bit drying.

8 yr. 130 proof. Powerful flavor. Nose was relatively subdued but palate and finish are strong. Great but a bit pricey on its own. Got in a bundle with Stagg. No complaints.

Juicy Fruit on the front palate. Some spice punches the tongue leaving a lasting impression on the finish. Got lucky finding this at a decent price. Would definitely buy again at rhe right price.

Finish lasts forever. Not a rye guy. But wow!
