Barrell craft spirits bourbon (cigar blend)
Bourbon — Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee , USA
Reviewed March 29, 2026Smells sweet and delicate, palate is full of flowers and wine with a very slight astringent bitterness that can probably be attributed to the tokaji finish. Plenty of wood and some complexity from some of the higher aged whiskies keep things interesting but there is also a noticeable lack of juicy sweetness that place this in the middle of sweet or dry. Oily, viscous and holding up well in a glass over a long period of time are factors that would make this whisky great paired with a cigar and hence an overall success albeit not a masterpiece.80.0 USD per Bottle -
Plantation Barbados 2013 (Green Sea Turtle & Flying Fish)
Aged Rum — Barbados
Reviewed March 18, 2026Very well balanced with fruity and a honey like sweetness. There is a faint level of ester presence. Cognac snd bourbon inlfuence also shines on this one as they add a vanilla spiciness and dark fruit hint. -
Dark Arts Whiskey House "Blunt Blend": Straight Rye Whiskey finished in a Madeira Cask and in a Armagnac Cask
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 10, 2025Beautifully finished dessert rye. Plenty of compleixity from the 8 years for a juice bomb. Long casky wine/grape flavor, lingering candy like mouthfeel. -
Oak forward backbone holds together a nearly perfect combination of spices, juicy richness and aged detail. The rum barrel aging is exquisite and is a welcome added flavor to the finish which is long and pronounced. The only criticism of the nearly perfect voyage is that it could benefit from more age.220.0 USD per Bottle
