Gin like color and flavor before smoke. Good mineral water texture and taste. Smoky as in lox, non-salty but bring out a sweet mid palate. Probs the most starter starter-flavor for whiskey, not sherry oak, not ollosso, but smoked and tabacco scotch from Islay. Use it as a perfume now.

Sweet at first, peaty towards the end, bit of fennel too at the end. My first Amoroso Wood
