Tastes

Surprising taste—took a couple sips to understand it. Sweet, ends with strong malt flavor. Rum barrel taste. Liked it more as I sipped.

Smooth, pleasantly not sweet, not overly floral, buttery vanilla, smell the alcohol first, spicy first taste but falls off with very light (not very much) wood flavor at the end.

Smooth, not much aftertaste. Tastes classic, with a freshly cut wood taste. Not bold, but great consistently. Flavor moves up into a spicy but mature and simple flavor. It feels like it knows what it’s trying to do. Balanced. Could sip or mix.

Different! Lighter. Does not taste like it smells. Compare it to smoking a swisher sweet: it has a sweet but musty funk part way through, but then finishes light. Feels like it doesn’t know what it wants to do. Actually enjoyed the aftertaste the most. Began to like it more as I drank it. Would not buy, but would love tasting with a friend.
