Tastes

Very good. It's sweet and spicy, ends with a blend of light smoke and banana. Honestly the richness of this makes for easy drinking. Can't beat the price. Worth buying.

I know... 5 stars is always a generous number to give. Y'all... This bourbon earns it! My first words were "oh my lord." Sweet on the front end like cherry wine, then oaky, and then spice. It's absolutely delicious and for the affordable cost of this bourbon I cannot give it less than a perfect score.

It's excellent. Little steep in the pricing for a Bourbon but as a fan of TJ, I had to try a bottle. So glad I did. Immediately in contention for my favorite KSBW. It's got a faint hint of that baseball glove leather, but plenty of dark cherry and spice. Oaky too. An outstanding balance.

Pretty sweet at first but the slow smokey finish makes it terrific. Hard to beat the price. Good stuff.

Really smooth. Not peaty but still has the hint smoke I'm after while definitely having a rich and sweet flavor. Nothing about it is overpowering, blends nicely. Great stuff.

Very good. Easy drinking as it finishes smooth but not at the cost of flavor. I'm pleased for the price.

It's a bit more leathery than the Single Barrel, which isn't exactly my preference. That said, I love the blend of spice and sweet with the faintest hint of cinnamon and cedar. A 3.25 for me but I can certainly see how some people might place this in the 4 range.
