A balanced, Stout cask finished Irish Whiskey by Jameson Distillery Bow St. in Ireland in collaboration with Franciscan Well Brewery in Cork. Jameson would send over a bunch of empty Whiskey casks & Franciscan’s would use it to mature their barrel-aged Stout lager. Then, they would send those casks back to age the Irish Whiskey. “Caskmates!” It has an aromatic birth with notes of cut grass, pear, ripe apple, coffee bean, crush almonds, chocolate liqueur, hints of hops & clove; while a rich & complex life adds notes of marzipan, vanilla cream, hops, cocoa & oak; that leads to a long & balanced death with notes of milk chocolate & butterscotch. A balanced, Blended Irish Whiskey by the Midleton Distillery made from a blend of two pot still Whiskeys & a single grain is matured in Oloroso Sherry casks & finished in Bourbon barrels for 6 months. It has an aromatic birth with notes of orange, apricot, dried fruits, chocolate, bourbon biscuit, hints of wood & toffee; while a smooth life adds notes of caramel, honey, spice, hints of oiled wood, leather, creamy vanilla, Turkish delight & a Sherry nuttiness; that leads to a long & balanced death with notes of oak, spice, toffee & unmalted barley. The Original Backpacker Moonshine is an intense, Tennessee Moonshine by Sugarlands Distilling Company in Gatlinburg, Tennessee crafted with local white corn, pure sugar cane, yeast & Smoky Mountain water that is distilled in copper pot before being bottled at 50% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain; while a bold life adds notes of sweet corn & fresh cut wheat; that led to a quick & earthy death. December 2023 / January 2024

A Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey aged 4 years American white oak barrels, transferred to a 2nd American white oak barrel, and aged for 1 year, before being bottled at 155 proof. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich & bold life adds notes of brown sugar, warm caramel, praline, vanilla fudge; that led to a hot & dry death of medium length with notes of oak, leather, white pepper, smoky mesquite, cinnamon, espresso, dark chocolate, roasted pecans & almonds.
