Barrell Bourbon Batch 025
Bourbon — (bottled in) Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 27, 2020 (edited January 12, 2023)This just leap-frogged Batch 021 as my favorite Barrell Bourbon, and it's in my top 10 overall. I will admit I am predisposed to wheated bourbons. I don't have a palette that picks up whisps or sousants. I taste in shapes, and this is like getting hit by the broad side of a triangle, with a bomb of peanut brittle, backed up by butterscotch and caramel, trailed by vanilla, then decreasing amounts of fruity and flowery, finishing with a small (but fighting above its weight class) amount of spice. I've now gathered up 6 bottles of this nectar. I really hope people keep sleeping on Barrell and can't wait to see what's next.80.0 USD per BottleChicago -
Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur
Dairy/Egg Liqueurs — Ireland
Reviewed October 2, 2020 (edited February 8, 2023)The butterscotchy cream is outstanding. Too good for coffee. That's what McCleary is for. I will admit I will sometimes spike this with a little Dead Rabbit or Tullamore Dew, but that's only because I have a drinking problem.30.0 USD per Bottle
