Tastes

Peppery spike, pleasant coating of the mouth, and subtle cherry and a hint of vanilla. This packs a bigger punch than 100 proof and lingers several seconds after.

The nose offers dried fruit and smoke dominating the first time. As it sits the fruit settles and offers some brown sugar. The palate is more subtle. The smoke disappears and flavors are soft The finish is rounded and medium-long. Overall, it is good and reasonably priced.

The nose offered a subtle hint of peanut butter/nut at first, but then subsided to a fresh cut wood. The bourbon is smooth on the palate and has a short finish. Really good.
