If you have ever been to Oaxaca, Mexico before you might know that it is a struggling state with low infrastructure and education, especially in the interior of the state outside of the capital. With the rise of Mezcal agaves are being farmed at an increasing rate with a growing threat of over production and a possible agave shortage in the future. Union Mezcal answers this problem by uniting dozens of families throughout Mexico to create a fair and sustainable way of producing Mezcal. Mezcal Union Uno is a ensamble of farm-grown Espadin agave and wild Cirial. The Espadin gives a sweetness and floral note the Mezcal while the Cirial compliments it with a subtle earthiness. The smoke doesn't overwhelm the taste of the agave and is more of a nice campfire smoke.45.0 USD per Bottle

Two James Spirits Johnny Smoking Gun Whiskey
Flavored Whiskey — Michigan, USA
Reviewed March 23, 2020Originally created for a ramen noodle shop in Detroit, a place called Johnny Noddle King. When Johnny Noodle King received their liquor license they wanted one whiskey to compliment their cuisine. When tasting this whiskey, picture yourself eating the wonderful rich umami flavour of ramen. To create this one of a kind whiskey Two James macerates a blend of Asian teas into the 70% corn whiskey and 30% white rye blend. Perfect for any cocktail that calls for lemon. Black tea pairs remarkably well with lemon so it works wonders in whiskey lemonades, sours and hot toddy's.45.0 USD per Bottle -
J. Riddle ... Jimmy Riddle Hoffa, born and raised in Detroit. Horseshoe and local 299 on the label throwing back to his teamster past and the red fox in the centre, The Red Fox Restaurant the last place Hoffa was seen. A Peated Bourbon with 79% Michigan corn and 21% Scottish Peated barely mash gives a lot away with how it tastes. That huge corn content brings the body and sweetness I expect from a bourbon. The peat smoke only hits once its on the palate and is just enough to warm my palate up to welcome that bandaid, mossy peat profile.45.0 USD per Bottle

Two James Spirits Catcher's Rye
Rye — Michigan, USA
Reviewed March 23, 2020 (edited February 23, 2021)What a great name for a Rye Whiskey! Catcher in the Rye is one of my favourite books and the subtle hints all over the label to the book is impressive. - The nose is bright with sweetness and hints of green, almost dill in tone. - On the palate it hints you with the traditional rye whiskey spice, given its 100% rye. - It then balances out that sharp spice with a beautiful honey sweetness. Additional notes from the distillery: - (March 2020) Now aged for 5 years in 53 gallon New American Oak Barrels, up from 2 years of original release.55.0 USD per Bottle
