One of the most complex scotches I’ve ever had. Front palate, mid palate and finish all could be explored for days. Heavy fruit, spice, chocolate and coffee

Similar notes to Elijah Craig barrel proof but a little less bold and with more vanilla sweetness. Really tastes like it is sourced from heaven hill. Delicious bourbon.

Beautifully complex sweetness made of vanilla, coffee creamer and caramel. Slight fruitiness in there as well. The flavors are just a little too subtle being bottled at such a low proof which i consistently find with michters. This one is tough because the flavors are more subtle being aged in used oak but also more complex at the same time. Overall a thin but lovely whiskey.

Bright green apple candy and hints of root beer stand out from the classic herbal and pepper notes of a high rye mash bill. But it’s nicely balanced by a strong vanilla sweetness and very nice roasty barrel notes on the finish. It is thin on the palate, would likely benefit significantly being bottled at a higher proof. But the flavors are lovely and complex.

Truly lacking in robust flavors. The flavors can sometimes be lost by the oddly intense alcohol burn.

Delicious complex sweetness made of vanilla and maple. Slight fruitiness and a strong cinnamon that’s takes it right to the edge with alcohol bite before a lovely charred oat finish
