Tastes

When drank neat, I found this whiskey to fully live up to the flowery descriptions. Spicy and sweet, smooth and creamy. I usually drink my whiskey with a single ice cube, though, and this one was bland and uninteresting when diluted. The lower proof limits its range, but it's worth the modest price if you like your whiskey straight.

Really good rye for the price. Bready with a nice spiciness. Peppery alcohol. Less sweet than most of the other ryes I've tried, which makes it perfect for cocktails.
