Tasting neat, from a NEAT glass. 2011 vintage: Nose brings charred wood and licorice, with orange zest and faint vanilla custard. Palate offers soft peanuts and lemon cake and wood spice and cherry. Finish is medium and very smooth, but with a final burst of heat.

Tasting neat from a Neat glass: Nose is gorgeous with wood notes and barrel spice heat, smoked peaches, cracked pepper and honey. Palate offers cinnamon sugar and honey suckle. Finish is medium with soft cinnamon spice.
