RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Look up "rye whiskey" in the dictionary and this should be what comes up first because it's one of the most rye-ish whiskeys out there. It really smells and tastes like rye bread, with maybe more spice (sweet baking ones as well as peppery) on the palate. It's balanced by sweeter flavors and subtle oakiness. Really great drop for the price point."
