I will have to say, I’m a big Balvenie fan and had been looking forward to this 17 year because I enjoy the 12 year so much. That said, I was underwhelmed by this, considering it’s age and price point. It felt like a scotch this was trying to be everything, but not great at anything. I enjoy the 12 much more and many others that cost far less.150.0 USD per Bottle

The Balvenie The Sweet Toast of American Oak 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Tasted November 2, 2020Everything Balvenie makes is good. This is good, but not as good as I had hoped for the price point. Nice introduction of the wood wo being too much. It's also a little thin with mouthfeel. Still at nice selection. I was maybe just expecting more.
