Barrel 995 - simply delicious. Vanilla on the nose with a bit of ethanol. It starts with nuttiness and caramel, maybe a hint of chocolate. Apples pick up before the alcohol hits. A bit of cinnamon and clove with the burn.

Butterscotch on the nose. Very sweet, Second only to Blanton’s. Almost cherry like and caramel on the tongue. A bit of spice on the finish. Very enjoyable.

Very smooth. Nose is a bit of caramel. The first sips have cherry and maybe a bit of chocolate. The finish is astringent with a bit of spice. Very delicious sip with lots of subtle notes behind the first sip.

Caramel and chocolate on the nose before the ethanol shows up. The alcohol burn hits the tongue pretty quick. A lot of spice. It’s definitely tastier after breathing a bit. Fruity, lots of rye spice.

Ethanol on the nose with some citrus. Sweetness on the tongue - caramel and butterscotch before the alcohol reveals itself on the nose. The finish has an astringency to it with spice galore.

Sweet - almost cherry like on the taste. A somewhat thin mouthfeel but so sweet. A little bit of spice on the end.

The nose has a lot of sweetness, maybe caramel with a hint of vanilla. maybe a bit of sawdust as it opens up. The alcohol burn in the nose hits in a few seconds. The burn lingers for a bit. Astringency is moderate. It’s really sweet at first sip, and quickly switches to spice. Apple at first quickly switches to cinnamon.

Extremely sweet. Vanilla on the nose, some caramel with a bit of ethanol. Fruity palate. Finish has a bit of burn with tannins coming through.
