First time having the new-look, 92 proof larceny. Much lacking compared to the original. Too light. Nutty and sweet, but no body or depth. Tastes too young and earthy

Peaty barley and VERY young rye notes somehow go ok together. Very earthy, grassy flavors with a strange blend of that peat. Bought at Fells Point Farmers’ market (375 mL for $27)

Bought for poker night on Brian Wortman’s roofdeck. Very sweet - a vanilla bomb - and everyone enjoyed it. A cheaper Woodford Reserve Double Oaked

Color is a light amber and nose is very young. VERY green flavors - grass, hay, barley. Pretty sub-par. Almost tastes like Jim Beam white label

Spicy, cinnamon, and rich perfectly describe this. A bit oily, but crisp caramels

Beautiful, deep, rich amber color. Nose is subtle with oak and soft caramels. Flavors take some time to arrive - vanilla present but also the malted barley comes through. I was worried about the high barley content that I normally dislike, but the flavor here is faint enough that it is not as off-putting. Leatherand some tobacco at the end

Bought back in South Bend from the Belmont Bev on 23. Cracked with Dad for Seize the Grey winning the Preakness. Fantastic pour - bold, rich, creamy caramel and raisin with cocoa with lots of nutty notes.
