Tastes

Intensely sweet with a hint of burnt sugar and caramel. Finish is pleasantly hot with sweet apple. Overall feels quite one dimensional.

One of the more complex bourbons that my naive tongue has tasted. Wonderfully smooth with that rich "yeah this is bourbon" flavors such as oak, dry tobacco, and leather. I get a lot of toasted barley flavor, reminds me is dry cereal with only a hint of brown sugar sweetness. The finish is soft and warm, with a slight cinnamon sweetness.

Sweet and soft with mild spice.

Fruity and rich with a nice spiced finish. The nose is smooth with some oak and dank sweetness. Starts very fruity with a decent amount of sweetness. Oak follows boldly, with a nice spiced finish. Very smooth and with no alcohol bite

Regular Maker's plus vanilla. Makes for a good old fashioned but not exciting enough to drink neat.

Caramel and slight oak open, with a slight heat afterward. This is a very balanced and smooth bourbon even if it is a tad boring. For the price this is an amazing value.

Sweet candy, oak, and Maple syrup dominate at first with a touch of heat. Vanilla cupcake finishes strong. Definitely a dessert bourbon, very refreshing and smooth.

Excellently balanced and incredibly smooth.

Unbelievably smooth, very rich and balanced. Leather and oak dominate with some spice and tobacco. Overall this is a great bourbon and one I don't think I'll fully appreciate until the next bottle.
