Tastes

Great pour straight off the bat. Fruity smell that hits pretty heavy. I like it a lot, starts with a little vanilla and maybe maple. Ends with some spice.

This is really smooth nice for sipping. The nose is pretty weak though for what it is. The taste was a lot fruitier than what I would have thought. After taste is slightly spicy but very light on that.

This is an easy drinker for sure. The nose is thin but smells good overall. The taste is easy going down but doesn't really have any outstanding flavors that hit home. It's friendly is all I can really say about it.

Nose reminds me of nail polish remover but the tiniest hint of fruitiness. Taste is of cinnamon but not a whole lot. I read some others about orange zest or vanilla but I don't really get that. It's not bad really but nothing stands out.

Nose is pretty mild but doesn't smell sweet or "corny" but with a single drop of water it really opened up. Taste is still pretty spicy but that drop of water sweetened it up quite a bit. Overall taste is kind of dry.

I'm usually a stickler when it comes to these ratings but this is easily my favorite rye I've had. First taste was of tea and then black pepper so a nice mild then spicy flavor. The end taste is fruity like apricots. The nose is mild but fruity.

Oddly enough this is really strong with the scent but pretty quiet overall. Good taste and for sipping.
