Great color, balanced smokey aroma. Campfire with a hint of the seashore. Dark chocolate, smoke, salty. A bit more light bodied than I like which brings it down a quarter point. But incredibly drinkable for a peated scotch.

Smokey, medicinal, floral, anise notes in the nose. Smoke is upfront, with medicinal and briney flavors. Really earns its points with me for being pungent with the smoke without being overbearing.

Every time I try this I get something different. Tonight it's apple, wine, lemon and wood on the nose. Bit of an ethanol burn. Oily in the mouthfeel, a bit salty, oaky, tannic, sour. Excellent stuff.
