Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 3, 2021 (edited October 1, 2021)Hoped that the Bottled in Bond standards would make this a Diamond in the rough at $18. The flavor is okay but it’s just so thin compared to everything else in my cabinet. I will keep it and use it for cocktails which would probably be a perfect use for this bottle.18.0 USD per Bottle -
I really enjoyed this on the rocks. I’m no connoisseur of rye but it seems balanced, has the spiciness that you expect from a rye and makes me want to go back for more. I read a review that called it a bourbon drinkers rye. Maybe that’s why I enjoyed it so much. 4-stars for great value at the modest price. Will probably be the rye I keep on hand.25.0 USD per Bottle

First pour and it’s enjoyable. The “high rye” it claims does come through but it’s a little thin. It’s a good flavor and I look forward to refining my tasting of this as I work on this bottle. *2nd bottle… I’ve come to enjoy this as a super solid offering for the price. You can still get 1.75L at $40 which comes to around $18 for typical 750mL bottle. Hard to beat at that price.22.0 USD per Bottle

*1st (Neck) Pour* I had high hopes for this after reading lots of people say it’s one of the best values at its price point. It tastes young to me and nothing remarkable. This was the first pour so I’ll give the rest of the bottle the chance to improve on my impression. *2nd Pour* Enjoying this one much more. Still lacks the depth of a Evan Williams Single Barrel in the same price point but this still beats most $25 bottles.25.0 USD per Bottle

Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 16, 2021 (edited April 28, 2021)A good nose, and classic bourbon flavor. Reminds me of Jameson Black Barrel. Nothing particularly remarkable apart from the bottle. Still, it’s good. I paid too much, but jumped on it after running across a lone bottle in a store If never been to before.59.0 USD per Bottle
