Knob Creek Small Batch Bourbon (NAS)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 25, 2017 (edited December 16, 2017)Un-ripe green banana and leathery nose, immediate full body provides anticipation, rewards with quick onset but quickly fading cane sugar, then immediately transforms into a desireable peppery bite sans the heat. Each sip gets mo betta with melting ice. Makes me want to come back to it tomorrow like your mom. -
Leadslingers Bourbon Whiskey
Bourbon — Oklahoma, USA
Reviewed July 29, 2016 (edited November 25, 2018)Young (8 months), bites the bullet with ethanol and damp mossy nose, lacks character, but some water brings out a very brief unrefined corn syrup sweetness that promptly disappears into unflattering heat. Seems like more age would bring out its potential. I support our veterans and bought 2 bottles, but won’t buy anymore. ‘Merica.
