Settled on the ten year when looking for the 17. very smooth and buttery feel. warm easy to drink taste of Buffalo trace

Listening to Skinny Love (Bon Iver) fits; the bourbon is spicy in cinnamon candy not a smoky way. Some floral notes. More adventurous than my college standard Mr. Daniels. Three stars will do if it didn't give me headache that more expensive bottles do not.

what can I say? I enjoy the challenge and straightforward spice. good mixed with anything; great in an Old Fashioned.

floral, oak, and something not quite caramel or vanilla... may need to open up my next two fingers with some ice. very smooth so enjoying it straight. may be excellent; requires some research and Count Basie.

2005 bottle was rich, hot, smokey. The caramel notes and vanilla didn't come through for me but a good mixer or ice took the edge off and smoothed out the edges.

cherry on the nose, like an early summer sweet cigar; full body with vanillas and spice. a five star long rye.

reliable; can sip, add ice, or enjoy mixed. I don't care for the rye variety as much which is odd as this has a rye bend embedded.

This bourbon is the one your daddy should have warned you off. Tight crisp punch to your gut. Some spice passed by quickly as the gasp of fire leaves and the smooth finish arrives.
