At the W in Lees Summit - corn mash is up front but very appropriate for this venue.

first impression is very positive. Sweet, balanced, with a fruit on the nose I can’t quite place. Could be a new top shelf. The spice evens out the sweet.

Corn flavor is primary on the nose. Reminds me at first of Balcones Baby Blue. Very Spicy here. Maybe would hit sweet spot at a better price. Definitely stays smooth and gains complexity when it opens up over ice.

Straightforward smooth for the proof day bourbon. Less complex, maybe, but move past the cinnamon sweetness and don't rock the apple cart. This bourbon don't mean to do any harm.

It is well balanced. Dry but with some notes that come out well in an Old Fashioned.

Smoky and as many others have said a sweetness of tequila on the nose. A whisky for a tequila bar paired with a fresh made corn chips and southern salsa. Very smooth, ideal for sipping straight. Good to round out my collection so to not only have full bodied Kentucky standards.
