Nothing incredibly special. Nice but not mind blowing.

Nose is fruity and fragrant. Palate is sweet but also buscuity. Finish is quite long and a slightly harsher than expected probably due to the 43% alchol percentage. A touch of water opens this up nicely though.

Lovely colour. Nice sweetness from sherry and soft vanillas from American oak. Simple but very enjoyable.

Very impressive for a blend. Has a sweet nose, palate is soft and fruity. Finish has that lingering pepper from the grain which is unique when compared to the smooth start.

Better than I expected for a single grain whisky. A lot of bite at over 50% alcohol but still has a nice sweet flavour behind it. Tastes more in the realm of a strong bourbon rather than a single malt.

Really don't understand this one. Flavour is quite rough and the smoke from peat is too intense. Even from a lover of peated malts.

Original sweet taste comes from the rum cask. Unique and refreshing.

For a cheap bourboun actually quite interesting. Sweet as usually expected but has a lingering smokey character with a bit of bite on the finish.
