    Honey, spices, and woody tones dominate this bottle. Later tastes yielded something closer to tobacco and honey. Very nice, but somewhat biting. Better with some ice to tone it down.

    Heavy Butter and Vanilla notes, also kinda spicy, on the tongue. Smoky on the finish. This is a nice drink and a great addition to Jack Daniels portfolio.

    Sweet and fruity with a suprising, pleasant bite. It hits right away with fruit and spice which quickly mellows to a buttery smoothness that holds on to the tongue for a long time.

    Nuts and Vanilla are super apparent up front, with a berry finish. The kind of smoothness one can only get in an Irish. it is a fantastic change up, but definitely not an every day drink.

    Cinnamon and corn with an okay initial flavor. A nice rye spice finish with a smoothness uncommon for straight bourbons. A lot to like here, but nothing spectacular.

    Vanilla and smoke are dominant, with fruity notes sneaking in on the finish. Nice bite, smooth finish typical of Jack Daniels. It's a very nice Tennesee Whiskey, just not sure it justifies the price tag at $175 per bottle.

    This is a beautiful, if tame, rye. It's woody and spicy with just enough sweetness. Woodford really nailed it here. Fruits, honey, and maybe even a little vanilla serve to temper the peppery initial bite. Worth every penny.
