Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed June 30, 2021 (edited July 1, 2021)That green label reminds me of green Apple, orange peel. It's creamy and soft on the palate, with almonds, a lil caramel and a hint of smoke. Nice blend -
Nose: extremely oaky but it's only 5 years old, maybe Micro maturation? A lot of grapes almost grappa, vanilla, sirop de liege, dry figues dates and apricots, tobacco. Palate: candies, fresh tobacco, carambar caramel, black chocolate, eau de vie. The finish is medium and very very oaky Interesting Whisky from Switzerland

First of all PEAT, this is a single malt Peated Whisky from Ireland nose: bonfire smoke and fruits, like a lighter Ardbeg 10, honey, citrus, Palate: light texture, fruits and smoke. A little sweet caramel. The finish is medium but something is missing here, the nose is nice but then a bit too light.

After the 21, the 15 solera and the 12 of course, I'm finally trying the big boy 18. The nose is woody, almost like inside a sawmill, cinnamon, chocolate, melted caramel, red Apple, peach, figues, honey The palate is like soft like velvet, easy sipping, creamy and verrrry sweeeeet, caramel chocolate and then lots of spices coming back. The finish is obviously sweet and spicy. That's a good one but dangerous, too easy to drink.

Nose: tropical fruits, pineapple maybe banana, Apple, pear, sweet vanilla, Some spices from the oak, Haribo bears. Sweet and lovely nose. Palate: chocolate, caramel espresso, sweet candy apples, creamy and pleasant. Medium long finish with spices. I'm amazed by this one! Way way better than the 12.
