Tasting Notes
"Plenty going on with this bold beauty if cask strength is your thing! The high alcohol content is very apparent on the nose but be patient and it leads to rich fruity aromas with a nutty backdrop. The spiciness of the palate gives way to the remnants of a dark espresso biscotti. Drying and tannic on the finish but with a satisfying belly warming effect. Great example of a whisky that balances bourbon & sherry casks goodness. "
