Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed August 17, 2021 (edited September 15, 2021)The bottle is really beautiful, good start! From far, I can already smell the campfire smoke, overwhelming. On the nose, smoke of course, espresso moment, bubble gum, pineapple, grilled banana. On the palate something like Caol ila maybe or a peated Bunna. Smoked meat, simple and traditional Islay style. Strong and nice for peatheads -
Arran Sauternes Cask Finish Single Malt
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed August 17, 2021 (edited November 6, 2023)The nose is very fruity, apple pears, peaches apricots, syrup, smells like a fruit salad. A little meat smell On the palate, it's full of aromas, strong with the 50% caramel and fruits, pear juice, a lil iodine saltiness. The bottle is heavy with a well done cork. Very good stuff
