OF1920 is my current favorite readily available bottle. Solid heat. Pronounced barrel char, balanced by the sweetness of caramel and vanilla - with subtle coffee notes. Long, warm finish. Dare I say I enjoy 1920 as much - if not more than - most of the OFBB pours I’ve tried? Once you factor in the price.. This one is a clear winner.

Not a whiskey when you’re craving whiskey.. The rye blend is dominated by the port - making for a sweet almost dessert-like experience. Pronounced dark berry and vanilla custard tones on the palate. Very low heat and minimal rye spice. Truly a unique and unexpected pour.

My first bottle of Bookers, and it definitely lives up to expectations. Surprisingly complex for a not so subtle cask strength pour. Tons of cinnamon and vanilla with hints of char. Might need to grab a backup bottle before the batch disappears.

The standard Blade & Bow expression is significantly hyped yet unremarkable. Body is very thin and finish is short. Palate is floral and subdued - think melon, pear, and butterscotch. Hoping the 22yr offering is more deserving of the Stitzel-Weller name.

Love wheated bourbons, but not overly impressed with Larceny. Unbalanced and somewhat harsh. Feels like Old Fitz in a nicer bottle, and a higher price point.

Can’t go wrong with Baby Saz. Very solid go-to rye. Perfect for making a proper Old Fashioned.
