Tastes

This is the bourbon for people who want to drink it because it's trendy not because they like it. It's boring, lacks body and overpriced. Not worth the money.

Average bourbon. Could never bring myself to purchase a bottle so I decided to try it at the bar. I may add it to my collection but I'm in no hurry. Solid sipping bourbon.

It was like someone was having a party on my freaking tongue. The first sip was unbelievably smooth for the proof. I wish I could get ahold of a bottle. I stumbled across a bottle in a bar and decided to treat myself. Superior bourbon.

I've had Blanton's before but I was new to whiskey. I liked it for all the wrong reasons: 1. It was mentioned on House of Cards. 2. The bottle is hella cool. It's been a year since I've bought a bottle, so I decided to circle back around to see if I still liked the bourbon. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. For the price, the bourbon is quite boring and lacks flavor. I prefer a more complex and robust bourbon. I will never buy Blanton's again but on the bright side, this bottle does improve the aesthetics of my collection.
