This is an outstanding rye that is made right.

Wathen’s Single Barrel 70 Nose Caramel Sweet Light Palette Light fruit Caramel Pecan Honey Mellow light sweet Not a ton going on here. Very underwhelming. Youthful. Lacking depth and finish. Not worth the price tag.

I like it but there is something about it. It has this bitter flavor I’m not sure if I like. Once it mellows out though that dark fruit is very tasty.
