Smoky oak on the nose. You can pick a bit up tasting as well. Mellow and really smooth. A little vanilla and a touch of maple syrup. A great sipper.

Caramel, vanilla, apple, and cinnamon up front. Opens well with ice and smooths out a lot.

The sherry comes through fairly strong. It’s smooth for the most part with a bit of burn at the end. Very light, sweet, fruity up front and the grape flavors hold on for quite a while. It’s definitely a good sipper but the sherry overpowers the other flavors a little bit.

Light, sweet, and loads of vanilla on the nose. Buttery, sugar cookie up front, with a dash of spice. A little burn on the back. Full but still fairly light. Good flavor but not tremendously deep or complex. Great for the price if you can find it.

Intense from the start. Sweet dark flavors come in strong and fast like black licorice, carmelized candy, and a touch of dark chocolate. A significant burn. As you sip a tiny bit of stone fruit comes through.

A little harsh and a stiff bite right up front. Good toasty, brown sugar notes. Quite a bit of burn and not very smooth. Decent but not a great sipper.

Butter, brown sugar, icing right up front. Smoother finish than the BIB. A slight bite. A tremendous bourbon for the price.

Silky start with candy notes. Little burn on the finish but for the money this bottle is hard to beat.

Buttery right from the start. Sweet but not too much. Mild and smooth. A touch of baking spice. Goes down very easy.

Tons of caramel. Rich and dark in flavor like toasty molasses. Excellent bourbon.
