Tastes

Noticeably sweet to the nose that carries over to the taste. A bit too sweet for me. Still good and smooth just not really a personal favorite. Wouldn't buy another bottle but that may change as I work my way through this one. Does have nice spice notes and has a creamy mouth feel. Gonna keep at it and see if it can change my mind

Smells similar to JW Black Label right out of the bottle. Very sweet flavor that reminds me a bit of cognac. Gonna have to drink more to get a real solid feel for it. I like it but don't love it at this point. Has a slight spice to it with a nice after taste. Edit: went back and got a bottle of this for the start of 2020 rifle season and really enjoyed it. Would gladly buy again

First taste is very spicy and has a creamy mouth feel. Can definitely taste the fruit and is a bit sweet but not overly sweet. More complexity than most of the scotches I've had, albeit not many. Very enjoyable

The best scotch I've had to date. Unreal smooth. Really like the JW smoke. Been a while since I had it

Love black label. Less smokey than red. Super smooth and enjoyable. Favorite JW outside of Gold although I've yet to have blue.

It isnt bad for a cheap entry level scotch. Very heavy on smoke. Usually tend to have a few glasses of better scotch then switch to this for effect. I enjoy it but it's nothing to write home about

Real smooth but a but sweet for my liking. Definitely has hints of pear. This isnt as in depth as it could be cause I finished the bottle the other day and forgot to tag it Edit: went back and had this again and it was better than the first time I had it. Maybe cause I've had more scotch since then and I'm gaining more of a taste for things

First sip is tons of spice. Creamy texture in mouth. Very smooth. Great aftertaste of something that I cant put my finger on. Excellent!
