Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed December 26, 2020 (edited January 4, 2021)Enjoyable spiciness. Smells and taste of raisins with hints of vanilla. Smells harsher than it tastes. Would gladly have again but the price was the draw back on this one. I've had better scotch in this price range. At $45ish, I'd be more interested66.0 USD per Bottle -
Loch Lomond Original
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed November 25, 2020 (edited January 30, 2021)Pretty awful but got it for archery season cause it was cheap and we were more looking for effect. Bonus points for a nice buck on it. Truly though, it was pretty rough.25.0 USD per Bottle -
Very smooth. Wish it had a more silky and less watery mouth feel. Also wish the after taste lasted a bit longer. Can definitely taste the cinnamon and apple. On the nose it smelled of vanilla/caramel and cherries with a definite notice of the sherry cask. Really enjoyable. Looking forward to trying the rest of the lineup63.0 USD per Bottle

Reviewed July 25, 2020 (edited November 20, 2020)Excellent. Smoothest I've ever had. Could drink all day.100.0 USD per Bottle -
Really really smooth. Shouldnt have waited this long to try it. Nice fruity/citrus hint at first followed by a little spice and then followed up by a big vanilla/toffee flavor. Nice after taste with a silky mouth feel. Really enjoyable. I'm gonna need to start running up the Glenlivet lineup!50.0 USD per Bottle
