Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 10, 2018 (edited November 9, 2019)Lord have mercy that toasted sweetness is delicious. Burnt caramel gives way to spice and a little smoke. Unlocked the flavors with Old Limestone bourbon mixing water, which made it the best dram of bourbon I’ve ever had -
Auchentoshan American Oak
Single Malt — Lowlands, Scotland

Initially underwhelmed, the gentle nature of this dram caught up with me and body-slammed me onto the soft grasses of the northern Lowlands.
