Reviewed September 11, 2015 (edited March 11, 2016)Wow, this was a pickup and kind of a spite buy. Some yahoo wanted to buy both bottles of it. This is good stuff. So many favors erupt from this fine bourbon. You can roll it around in your mouth and it just explodes with sensations. The finish is so well balanced with a pepper linger and such a pleasant burn. Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 21, 2015 (edited November 7, 2015)Tried this tonight. Not bad for a $23 bottle. The nose is very pleasant, earthy smelling. The palate was a jumble of flavprs but it did remind me of cough medicine from my youth. Not unpleasant, but not completely pleasant either. The finish lingers with a very plesant burn with a touch of sweetness. -
Blanton's Original Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 11, 2015 (edited November 7, 2015)This is by far the best bourbon I have tried to date. The nose is pleasant and not overpowering followed by a pepper explosion along the sides of your tongue. Has a dry quality and a pleasant lingering finish. If you find it, but it. Good stuff!
