This is a treat. Rich flavorful spivey smooth, what else can be said? If you find it buy it! Great rye whiskey to try it f you have not tried rye whiskey!

16 release is 11 yars and 45.9 proof, kinda short for a cask strength. Neat, it has a strong ethanol flavor but is farly smooth. Tastes of heat and vanilla, strong medicinal taste. Looses alot of heat on ice with a touch of water. While it is good, I will not classify as great.

112.8 proof without that ethanol burn. Animist wild turkey aroma. Lots of pepper on the palate along both sides of the tongue. Very smooth with just the slightest of heat in the esophagus. My only complaint is it lacks body and needs to be drank neat or one small cube of ice. Flavor completely changes if ice melts. It looses flavor with water. Otherwise tasty!!

Very good spivey and smooth. One of my favorites day in and day out. Lots of spice and flavor with vanilla, toffee and spice. Very good!

BurbonDan picked up a bottle and was stoked with the evite to try. I was looking forward and had high expectations. I was disappointed to say the least. Lacked flavor to me. Tasted very green and young. This is the same Mashbill as blantons but could not taste more different. I do not know why this has become an allocation item. Thought it was interesting that this is the same bottle as Walthens single barrel!

Loaded with pepper, lacks complexity and has 2 dimensional flavor. But for some reason really liked it. I will likely add this to my cabinet at done point. Very tasty just expect the pepper explosion, and long sinus filling esophageal burn!!

Just tried Stagg Jr for the first time. Vanilla, caramel, spice, ethanol. Tried with one king cube. Lots of heat mid palate but still a smooth finish. Good stuff!

Smooth, robust, full bodied. This bourbon can be described as fruit and spice and all things nice. Just buy iy, its awesome!

Very smooth, great taste. This is a great bourbon for someone who wants to try it for the first time. So smooth!
