Tastes

Astringent on the nose. Maybe some aged cherry, too. Young and oaky (not necessarily in a good way) tasting. The finish is light and sweet (fruity) tho, contradicting the initial taste. 3-3.25

I found vanilla and caramel on the nose. Tasted 'oaky' and a little 'dry' to me. Not too hot. A step up for sure. A 3.5-3.75 for me.

My favorite so far. Enjoyed on a rock and loved how it opened as the cube melted. Outstanding start to finish. I didn't find the burn so many mention, but that's what makes bourbon great. There's something for everyone. A 4.5 in my book.

Loved this bourbon...before I tried others. Still a solid, smooth, "sweeter" bourbon. Fills the palate with delightful caramel and vanilla notes. Still have a very soft spot for this though. 3.5-3.75
