Tastes

Clean, crisp. Like a frozen raspberry. Wonderful.

Good intro to rye. Spicy, but mellowed by the bourbon sweet. Taste of the bark from a sugar cane.

Probably a 3.5. Tasty. Very Sherry forward, keeping a berry flavor throughout. Amazingly calm across the palate. No challenge, but not boring, either. Reminds a bit of cherry sno-cone.

Deserves credit for being so smooth at such a high proof, but not one of the better Glenmorangie offerings. Sweet aftertaste, very grassy on the palate otherwise.

Absolutely remarkable how intense the peat is at first taste. Unmistakable. It is much smoother than you'd expect from a scotch that is that young and that high ABV. The smoke eventually gives way to some floral notes and a bit of herb. Fantastic.
