Instant classic for me. Not just another rye. Greater complexity, character, intensity. I use it purely for drinking straight and probably my reaction to it evolved a little over the first couple tries. Also found the sweet spot of how to sip: for me it’s add a drop of water—pretty high proof to simply go at it completly straight—but doable if sips are small. Not cheap at about $57 but seems worth it.

Love this! Rich and smooth. Used the entire bottle as a sipper. Can’t taste the port per se, but it adds a richness and complexity i’m sure. The low abv lends itself perfectly for drinking neat, w/o any kind of H2O augmentation.

Stopped at the 10th Mountain tasting room at Vail Village after a day of skiing in March 2024. Liked the rye and bought a bottle in Frisco. Great stuff; initial impression confirmed and never regretted buying bottle. Not cheap though. Think it was maybe $60? (Summit County markup?)
