Very nice. There’s the obvious smoke on the front end, which hits the side of the tongue, and then the sweetness of the smoke which hits the middle and rear. A drop of water really smooths this whisky out, but I do find that I prefer it neat - there’s something about the raw, unadulterated burn that makes this gem what it is. Enjoy some with a crumbly cheddar and sweet chutney.

Very smooth - the sherry comes through on the front of the tongue and on the edges while the oak calmly sets down in the middle and rear.

The smoke is rich and also crisp - not as dark as others but still reminds you of sitting in a mountain cabin.
