But it melds into a wonderfully smooth taste that transitions into spice and rye. A comfortable finish respectable for its proof that provides a satisfying movement and lingering burn. Huge fan of this bourbon... it is inviting to new whiskey drinkers and meets expectations of avid bourbon enthusiasts. Can be a luxurious everyday sipper or hold its weight as a special occasion drink. Overall... very impressed.
