just love this dram...was my first foray into scotch (alongside Redbreast 12 ,and as far as i'm concerned both choices were bang on fab level entries)....really enjoy the mix of different tastes/smells: hay/heather, fruit, honey and a nice dallop of tobacco on the end.

found this a bit flat and boring, esp compared to the redbreast 12 or jameson black barrel.

what a great balance between a quality Irish whiskey and an American Bourbon....i keep on coming back to this time and time again...esp for the price.
