a great everyday Irish whiskey sipper that offers a fab creamy mouth feel with lots of vanilla and butterscotch...a nice value alternative to the more pricey Redbreast 12.

my goodness what a fabulous whisky, especially when you factor in it's equally fabulous price....how it's grown on me, too....so many flavours that it's hard to pin down... i have a hard time sipping this one very slowly.....great bang for buck juice....i'm a newbie, too...all newbies should be introduced to this one.

just love this dram...was my first foray into scotch (alongside Redbreast 12 ,and as far as i'm concerned both choices were bang on fab level entries)....really enjoy the mix of different tastes/smells: hay/heather, fruit, honey and a nice dallop of tobacco on the end.
