I.W. Harper 15 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 12, 2020 (edited August 18, 2020)Nose: a sweet breezy bourbon. Classic vanilla, cherry, barrel char, burnt caramel and finally this awesome orangey note. Taste: light and airy mouthfeel with your usual bourbon bottom end, nutty mid tones and flowery herbal highlights. An interesting dram but not one that lingers for very long. If I didn't know any better I'd say this was a thinner more youthful version of a Weller product despite being made by Heaven Hill and not having any wheat.70.0 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More -
Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Legacy Edition #1
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed February 7, 2020Classic Jack proofed up just a little bit. At a couple dollars more than the classic, it makes a great gift and stands out in the collection with its retro label.22.0 USD per BottleKansas City -
Cedar Ridge Single Malt
American Single Malt — Iowa, USA
Reviewed February 7, 2020 (edited November 23, 2020)If you could bottle the idea of an old dusty barn, a syrupy single malt and a boat load of malty goodness, you'd have this. None of that description sounds pleasant to me but I love this stuff. I'm still trying to find a 750ml bottle.2.5 USD per Shot -
Served neat in a Glencairn. Nose: nail polish and classic bourbon vanilla. Faint cherry and...mint? Menthol maybe. Palate: Not bad but not a bargain bin find of your favorite kentucky bourbon. It isn't complex but I'm finding it hard to describe. There's wood and barrel spice and a lot of really nice notes but they're there and then gone after the swallow. I hope that's just because its 80 proof. Finish: Really not bad. Its decent and then gone. I agree that the nose is way worse than the taste. Someone said there's fish like smell and I can agree that once I opened the bottle there was something weird there. But at 1 liter for under $10 I'm pleasantly surprised. Bottom line: If you can find the bottled in bond, grab it.8.99 USD per BottleKansas City

Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 16
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 4, 2019 (edited December 30, 2020)Actually Voyage 17 but I couldn't seem to find that option. Tastes like an expensive bourbon. Strong, full bodied. Slightly viscous and rich. Not as oily as a small batch bourbon.69.99 USD per BottleKansas City
