Tastes

N: Grape, raspberry, ethanol, oak. T: vanilla, young, dark fruit, candy corn. F: Wax rye spice, pepper. First wave of the finish is weak, and the youthfulness is what stands out. Final finish gets a little more of the rye spice and makes up for the initial disappointment. Still too young for my palate. 6/10

Peanut butter galore.

Complex, Oak and floral. Solid pour.

Color: liquid gold Nose: sweet caramel, apple, banana bread Palate: Apple, like flat apple cider, bread, light oak, everything is a muted tone. Probably best as a mixer. Not bad by any means, easy to drink, but nothing interesting whatsoever.

Color: Red/ruby Nose: vanilla, cinnamon, bread, red fruit Palate: vanilla, oak, punch of spice diminishes faster than I can process. Red fruit, cherry pie, jam after second sip, still leaves too abruptly. Adding a small cube of ice brings a bitter earthy tone to the nose. Black tea and pepper on the back of the tongue. It’s a decent pour, but not worth the bottle price.

Nothing wild here, awesome bottle for the $12-15 range. Oaky, a little spice, caramel, red fruit. I’ve tasted worse for +5x cost. Highly recommend for the price.

Nose: Candy Apple, caramel, oak, ethanol Taste: Butter, butterscotch, alcohol, caramel, peanut brittle, and more alcohol. Overall, very interesting and unique flavor profile. Although very present, the alcohol is manageable and pleasant.
