Nose: vanilla, citrus, and oak Mouth: orange, chocolate, and vanilla Finish: vanilla and oak To me this bourbon isnt super viscous but is super crushable. The chocolate covered orange note is the strongest citrus note ive ever gotten on a bourbon. It is also pretty sweet. I wish I had bought more of these picks because it is by far the best eagle rare bourbon ive had. The downside is the mouth feel is watery.

Nose: vanilla, sweet vegetal (almost rum like), floral Taste: floral, spices, Finish: vanilla, caramel, vegetal I was pleased with this whiskey, usually canadian whiskeys are a lot harsher, but compared to other whiskeys this one is delicate on the palate. While i was sipping Caribou crossing it almost reminded me of a rum. I know that canadian whiskey can have additives similar to rum. However i looked it up and caribou crossing doesnt have additives according to barrel banter forum. I found this whiskey fairly simple for the price. I was hoping for a little bit more complexity. However, it may be the best canadian whiskey I have ever had. I also wished it was a little higher proof than 80. I didn’t add water because of that. Overall, i think the price is mainly for the bottle not the whiskey inside. Which the marketing on the bottle is amazing. I probably won’t buy another unless it’s a gift for someone who likes pendleton.

Nose: caramel, apple, vanilla Taste: wood, apple, cinnamon, alcohol Finish: spice, vanilla, wood I enjoyed this whiskey, but it could have been better. The sharp alcohol bite makes it a hard sipper. Yet the cinnamon and apple flavors are enjoyable making you want to return for more. Decent mouth feel. The legs are as slow as molasses. I probably won’t buy another bottle. Luckily this bottle was a gift or else I wouldn’t have even tried it. I an very thankful for the gift, but it wasn’t worth the price my friend payed.

Nose: toffee, vanilla, caramel Taste: Vanilla, mint, sweet, wood Finish: mint, vegetal I think this pick from eastside liqour in Klamath Falls was solid. Very sweet and minty no bad notes. Lacking a little in the front palate, but strong finish. Good mouth feel as well. This would make a really good mint julep, and is a great beginner bourbon sipper. I think it lacks complexity but is definitely on the sweeter side. Overall I think this was worth the 5 dollars more than normal buffalo trace. Doesn’t hold up to water super well because of a lower proof most likely. I did find a cherry note as I added water.

Nose: caramel, artificial banana, fruity Taste: wood, caramel, ethanol Finish: burnt caramel, unripe bananas Nice nose however there is a defenite consistent ethanol bite which is unfortante. The finish though was pleasantly sweet. Overall it’s an okay bourbon. I probably wont buy it again, but was worth a try and was good for $30ish

Nose: very sweet overall, vanilla, caramel, slight cinnamon, or fruit snacks Mouth: tobacco, mint, spicy, Finish: minty, herbal, vegetal Pretty complex for a $35 bottle the nose is pretty different than the palate. Fairly viscous nice legs. Probably would make a mean mint julep. Adding ice makes it more vegetal and less minty i also picked out a fig note that I hadn’t before. I rated this so high because I love mint notes and the sweetness of the bourbon with the mint really suits my palate. After the whole pour my cheeks were dry and i was left with a nice vegetal finish.
