On the nose...medium spice, cherries, sandalwood, leather On the palate...watery, flavours take a few seconds to develop and there is spice, a light leathery note, sandalwood and medium bitter from the oak also a grassy taste comes through. It tastes like a mix of young and some aged scotch. So so, 2.5/5

Glenlivet 21 Year Archive
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed March 18, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)Sherry influence is strong. Dark fruits, spice and a nice overall Scotch. Nothing exceptional but very well done. 4/5 -
Gooderham & Worts Three Grain Little Trinity 17 Year
Canadian — Ontario, Canada
Reviewed March 18, 2018Easy drinking, light flavours. Fruit, spice and rye. Very balanced and nice, a little more punch to the flavours would be appreciated but as far as Canadian Whisky is concerned this one is definitely one of the best. -
Nose...fresh green apple, sweet and tart. The wine influence shows here. There is something else on the nose it’s hard to describe, until you taste it. Burnt rubber. Awful, hardly palatable burnt rubber. In my opinion this is not a good Scotch. On the palate it’s just not pleasant at all and the finish is, thankfully, extremely short. The only positive is that the experience is over quickly. 1/5. I would recommend Glenmorangie 18, Old Pulteney 21 or even the Hibiki Harmony over this if you want a fruity experience.

GlenDronach Parliament 21 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed March 1, 2018 (edited March 22, 2018)Slightly akin to The Macallan rare cask, this is a sherry bomb. Unfortunately the taste and smell is like you are immersing yourself in a humidor. Tobacco notes are very forward. Too Sherry forward. -
Old Pulteney 21 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed February 28, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)Note Discontinued-if you like it buy it. Less spice than highland park 18 Some fruitiness, cooling, dries out the mouth then mouth watering. Quite nice. Not memorable to me but a solid scotch. 3.8/5 -
Glenmorangie Signet
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed February 25, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)Delicious, cocoa, spice, I get a little milk chocolate once water added. Overall very nice, a real after dinner treat. Lovely drink and who cares about the NAS when it tastes this good!
