I don’t hate it, but it is NOT as smooth compared to other bourbons like Evan Williams that are much cheaper. Too much noticeable alcohol burn in the nose and in the finish (i can feel this burn down my throat/chest). Taste is good, very rye and baking spices forward, cherry; I could see this being a good base for a holiday cocktail. I am not a rye whiskey fan but I can see rye fans liking this a lot more.Binny's Beverage Depot

Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey
Blended — Ireland
Reviewed October 4, 2020 (edited October 16, 2020)Nose is very astringent alcohol with spice. Kind of off putting and cheap smelling but the taste is a different animal. Smooth, very sweet honey, toffee and super spice; but still finishes with too much ethanol coming out of my nose. -
Rush Creek Distilling Trophy Whiskey Small Batch Release
Rye — Harvard, Illinois , USA
Reviewed December 30, 2019 (edited July 4, 2021)A little too much rubbing alcohol in the nose, but the taste leans more to a scotch with spice cookie and butterscotch notes. Mostly smooth, but does have a little burn at the end.
